Skilled Long Term Care
Located on some of the most beautifully landscaped acres overlooking the scenic public golf course in Albany, Minnesota, each resident enjoys a serene, peaceful yet familiar rural environment. Built on two levels, where 76 people make their home at Mother of Mercy and enjoy courtyard settings and participate in activities and dining while overlooking the golf course on each floor.
With dining and day rooms close to the nurse’s stations, residents and family members can be assured that those in our care are safe during their stay. Each floor offers a combination of private and semi-private rooms that are considered large within the industry. The First Floor of the nursing care facility has been designed to accommodate the needs of those experiencing some memory loss or dementia. With resident safety in mind, all exit doors, all units and the elevator are equipped with alarms and security cameras.
The Second Floor of the nursing care facility is the rehabilitation unit where residents receive physical, speech, and occupational therapies. Eye, dental, hearing, and podiatry needs are met on a regular basis in our facility. Our home maintains a tradition of excellent food served “family style” with special diets available as prescribed. Our talented activities director develops recreational programs for all.
