Nursing Care Facility
Founded in 1958, the Mother of Mercy Nursing Home was established to provide long term health care to local area community members in need.
A philosophy of personal dedication and caring for each resident has continued throughout our growth.
The location of our home can be found on beautiful wooded and landscaped acres, which offers each resident a serene, peaceful yet familiar rural environment.
Built on two levels, the facility is a 76 bed nursing home where residents of each floor enjoy courtyard settings; participate in activities and dining while overlooking the public golf course.
The First floor of the nursing care facility has been designed to accommodate the needs of those experiencing memory loss or dementia. With resident safety in mind, all exit doors, and unit elevator are equipped with alarms and security cameras.
The Second floor of the nursing care facility is the rehabilitation unit where residents receive physical, speech, and occupational therapies.
- Eye and dental needs are met on a regular basis in our facility.
- Our home is a tradition of excellent food served “family style” with special diets available as prescribed.
- Our talented activities director develops recreational programs for all.
- A spacious chapel is located within the building with daily services available.
- Dining and day rooms in the nursing home are spacious and comfortable, and are close to the nurse’s stations.
- Each floor offers a combination of double and private rooms.
- Our generous size resident rooms are fully furnished. Large picture windows allow a bright and cheery view of the commons areas outdoors.
